This is in text everything we cover in today's episode: (runtime of the podcast is 3:32) Ok we are going to start by talking about the trickery of J.K Rowling. Let us begin with the 1rst book, we all thought Snape was after the sorcerer's stone, but in reality it was quirrell. At first, a listener tells me, she didn’t believe the text but as she read she said that it all made perfect sense. Take the 3rd book as another example, we all thought Sirius was out for harry, but turns out he was out for saving harry and the rest of the wizarding world. J.K Rowling’s books teach us that heroes can come out of the most unexpected places. I mean would you have thought you’d be crying after Sirius’s death while you were still reading the 3rd book? The books were so well planned out and slowly everything fits, does it not? Okay, moving on to another point in our podcast, we all I'm sure loathed Draco Malfoy, until some of us, in the 6th, felt sympathy. Did he really want to be a death eater or was he forced into it? This is an endless debate between potterheads so we thought we’d share our view on it. We think that he was forced into it, Draco didn’t exactly come from the best family, did he? But we don’t get too defensive because Harry had no family, and grew up in a horrible home, so no excuses can be made for dracos behavior but excuses can be made for him joining He-who-must-not-be-named. Lastly we wanted to uncover the truth of some nasty rumors that people believe about the Hogwarts houses. People say Gryffindors the best house, is it? All the houses have their own unique qualities, what about ambitious? What about wise? What about kindness and loyalty? Indeed, it is a great house but we believe that one house cannot be better than others. Next we wanted to uncover the truth about slytherin’s rumors of all being rude and into the dark arts. This is not true, they have produced the most dark wizards than any other house but they’re wizards could be the next Merlin. Speaking of Merlin, did you know he’s a slytherin? Next we wanted to talk about the rumors that all ravenclaws are top of the class. What about hermione? Any ravenclaw in Hermione’s class didn’t become top of the class then. Also, you can be wise but you also need to be willing to do the work, so give the ravenclaws who are not only wise but hardworking more credit! Lastly the rumor that hufflepuff’s are dumb is just not true. A listener tells us that an academically gifted kid they know is in hufflepuff the same listener tells us that another academically gifted kid was in hufflepuff and made the honor roll.
