LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys turn the spaceship. UP arrow applies thrust. Fly to stars to visit solar systems. Today we fixed a bug that occurred when entering and leaving overlapping stars. And we added planets to the Solar System Navigation mode. We have one set of planets for all star systems. We still need to generate unique solar system planets and associate them somehow with the stars.
This project is part of an ongoing video/stream series where we are making a game from Scratch. We stream every weekday from 12pm to 1pm EST on Twitch and we archive the videos on youtube. Search for our username on either of these sites to find them.
