Opossums (from the family Didelphidae) are from the Americas, and Possums, (from the suborder Phalangeriformes) are native to Australia and Papua New Guinea (and pests in New Zealand), and are the subject of this game. Opossums do make a feature though, in the friends shop, as they are also marsupials (have a pouch). They are the only marsupials not native to Australia and Papua New Guinea.
