Yes, it's horrible and I understand that it feels right to say "I'm sorry for your loss" / "Sorry about Ned" -Etc, etc. But they're not going to want to be reminded of it. Petal isn't just 'That person who knew Ned' or 'Ned's best friend' they're their own person who should be able to create and move on from Ned without their comments constantly reminding them of her. On April 3rd 2020 an amazing artist and all-around wonderful person known as Nednilclan to the scratch community passed away due to brain cancer. She was a huge inspiration to me and many other budding artists. She was one of the first people I ever followed on scratch and my art style and character designs would be a lot different if I hadn't come across her profile. Even though I never met her in person and only interacted with her a couple of times I can safely say that she was a wonderful and kind person and I wish her family and friends the very best. Ned all I can say is thank you. I can firmly say that you have made this website and the art community a better place. Farewell.
