Chapter 11: The 6 of them went to the racing course. Sappling woke up Stardrop, and he didnt seem very happy at all. There were already quite a few RainWings there and waiting for the race to start. On the was there, Birch reminded them that this was a tag team race, qnd that the team picking happens moments before sunrise. They stopped in a line. "So, uh, what kind of place do you live?" Birch asked Sappling. "Oh, I live somewhere on Pantala. Quite calm at our location actually. Its quite the miracle to us HiveWings" she said. Birch seemed suprised. "All the way out there? That far?" He said. Sappling was overwhelmed by this dragon. Birch looked and sounded annoying. "I guess it is" she replied a moment later. Hummingbird overheard their conversation. Oh, so did Leaf. (You should of seen his face. Seriously). "What are you 2 talking about" Hummingbird said. Sappling didnt feel like answering. Leaf decided to jump next to Sappling, and said, "Were just gonn, you know, go over there for a moment" Leaf kinda dragged Sappling over to the back of the line. Leaf let go and said, "Your staying back here with me. They could be up to trouble." He looked and growled at Hummingbird and Birch. Sappling didnt look pleased. "Whats YOUR problem with them? You seemed to hate them the first time they spoke to us." She said. Leaf kinda coughed/choked. "Problem? Why would I have a problem with these simple RainWings?" His voice reminded Sappling of a prince or a young king. Made her wonder who this dragon could be. "Trust me, they are up to no good." "I cant trust a dragon who cant tell me his name!" Leaf took the burn harrrrrd. "Well, I uh, Sorrow. Sorrowleaf." Chapter 12: Sappling looked at Sorrowleaf. His eyes really said his name. They always looked sorrow. No wonder. "Sorrowleaf. Gonna take me some time to get used to the feeling". Sappling looked around. "Look! Its already sunset, we dont have partners." She said. (Ok, ok, sneak peak, Leafling happens, im not kidding. They both nodded at each other, and walked to the starting line. And elderly RainWing went up to a podium. "Racers!! Please welcome your new RainWing queen, Queeeeennnnnnn, VINE!" He went away and a pretty RainWing walked out. She was currently a bright purple from her pride and proudness. She saw Sorrowleaf, Sappling, and Stardrop, and seemed to smile at them. "Citizens, and guests, I announce our tag team race today. The racers will be holding a purple stick" she picked one up "and then racing around 3 times. Once that teammate finishes, the other teammate does the same. The first team to return their purple stick to mean wins the race and wins, um, flower crowns that took me forever to make." She showed two crowns, one of a orange flower, and one purple. The crowd cheered. Sorrowleaf tapped Sappling on the shoulder. "I will go first, im pretty fast, then you". Sappling nodded in agreement. Queen Vine sighed, and said, "Are the racers ready? Then ready, go!"
