coding by the amazing @TheGamingKitten Art by me ( not the background though :p ) Story: Padding after her mate Cream'ear struggled to hold onto her kit as they padded across patches of grass, Cream'ear stares into the deep water as Rough'pounce leaps into it struggling across, '' Do you think I'll be able to swim across carrying maple'kit? '' She calls, he seems to not care, letting out a growl if you're not going to try you're wasting my time, he hissed. Cream'ear lets out a sigh, '' I'd rather not hurt maple'kit, what if he drowns... '' Cream sighs, '' well then go! '' her mate hissed, '' if her life means more then our relationship so be it...'' maple'kit opens her eyes as his mother pads to him, lifting him off the ground to go back to camp ~ time skip ~ Cream'ear had pranced through the familiar ferns as she, Rough'Pounce and a now almost apprentice maple'kit had walked to the spot they had failed to reach moons ago, the water was frozen and so Cream had suggested going there, now Maple could easily get across. It was not long till they had made it, the moon had been covered by dark clouds and the forest was far in the distance, this piece of land belonged to no clan as it was known to have bears living inside of it, not far from the flowery filled clearing. Rough'Pounce spoke up, '' You should go hunting for Maple'kit he grinned, Cream'ear smiled, her calming smile, '' Oh... I suppose you're right, will you take care of him? ''. '' Oh, I guess I don't mind '' he said laughing. '' I'll be back soon '' Cream purred, licking her kits head, this earnt a small squeak from maple before he batted his mother away and smiled rushing her way through the bramble, Cream'ear had all reason to concern as she had just heard a yowl coming from the clearing, only the worst thoughts rush through her head as she thought of all the bad things that could have happened to her mate and kit. When she reached the clearing she made it just in time to see Rough'Pounce slitting Maple'kits small neck, She lets out a yowl '' W h y ? ''
