Here we gooo This was really fun to make. Sort of made me realize how much I enjoy painting backgrounds, and the palette made it especially fun to work with! This looks to be a turning point for the better for how I treat backgrounds as opposed to the characters, and I'm really happy with the fact of that. I don't know if anyone will notice this but I tried to emphasize the composition by layering the backgrounds. If you look closely at the first 2 scenes, each part of the background actually moves separately (: This part took a lot of re-sketching and re-painting, mainly because I was especially motivated and had cleared my schedule up to free more time for certain MAP parts. Ivypool's design was a bit of a pain and added a few hours to the process, but that's not anyone's fault but mine since I couldn't help but make it fancy lmao. Despite it taking a while, complicating the pattern actually upped the quality and made it feel more polished! With all of that said, I am ready to crawl into a hole and die for another month Artist notes ━━━━━━━━━ • Canvas size: 960 x 720 • Brushes used: - Default pen (size by pressure) - Straight Brush [custom] (bitmap watercolor) - Watercolor Scan [custom] (scatter watercolor) • Avg. layers per frame: 18.125 • Total layers: 145 • Total frames: 8 • Music and/or entertainment: - "Dark" Soundtrack | Seasons 1-3 - In the Woods Somewhere | Hozier - Broken Sleep | Agnes Obel - "alternative songs to take a break from whatever you're listening now" | YouTube - Dreamland | Glass Animals - Scotland | McCafferty • Proudest frame: 012 • Drawing device: Huion KAMVAS GT-221 Pro ◊ Art : Me (@Gleamur) ◊ Audio : Level of Concern - Twenty One Pilots ◊ MAP : @banditoqq__ (Thanks for 17 on trending, you guys are crazy haha)
