my main OC, modest they're a demon :| srry the quality is bad :[ --- name: modest age: 17 gender: non-binary (they/them) sexuality: bisexual backstory: when they were younger they were relentlessly bullied by the children in their class. one day, one of the kids in their class cut of modest's wings. this made modest extremely upset and forced them into the mindset that they were lesser than the other demons due to their lack of wings. when they were 15, however, they came across a mysterious angelic merchant who had been traveling the underworld. the merchant asked them why they seemed so upset. modest said that they wanted wings to fit in with the other demons. the merchant nodded and handed them a mysterious red backpack with a small pair of demon wings attached. at first, they scoffed at the merchant, feeling insulted by the "gift". the merchant persisted they wear the backpack and, much to their surprise, when they did they could fly! the backpack is now a beloved item to modest even though it never learned the name of the merchant who gave it to them. the backpack not only can let them fly but it grants them a space with unlimited storage as it's truly a portal to a "storage dimension". they sometimes crawl into the backpack when stressed or upset to allow themselves to cool down.
