NOTE: Current build has some bugs, especially when projectiles pass a collidable object and how touch script works. Can't fix for now Finally, a project where you can shoot to your heart's content. Days took to make: 4 (Not without several breaks in scratch since I don't feel motivated) This project might be updated overtime if I have time on this. I remixed this because I am not very motivated. I'm kinda lazy right now to make the game scrolling, and I won't add some proper enemy scripts since this is more or less an armory type project. UGH, THIS "COBBLE ALL SCRIPTS TOGETHER" STILL EXISTS. Combined with the vertical only clean blocks, it takes FOREVER to properly place the scripts. It won't auto scroll either, which applies here. Why, didn't, they, fix, these. 3.0 is out last year, and this is the best they've got? Still some annoying bugs left? NOTE: Sorry to feel about your large hiatus, because it felt very sudden. After your fictional rifle project, you've been inactive for a VERY LONG time (Since late 2019) without us knowing it. The biggest problem about this engine right now is cloning. It is very limited in cloning despite 3.0 can handle it even if its too many. Also is .365 a real caliber? Since I can't find it. While editing somwhere (probably when playing the project), there's this rather scary visual bug that keeps appearing in the script board. Please FIX this, it's creepy. Because of this, I wasn't able to make a 3rd height of the ammo counter. CHANGES: - All weapon models revamped, as well as the arms - Now with reload (Ammo counter has been added). Remains minimal for now - Some sounds are changed - Ammo pool is added (9mm, 5.56, 7.62, etc.), though it remains experimental for now as there is no reserved ammo yet - The M870 now correctly pumps - Weapon pickup (Highly experimental and nowhere near finish), though you cannot drop weapons (You drop the M72 upon firing it, but it would still be kept to you) - HE grenades (I'm not gonna try finishing this) - Since I hate making collision detection, some of you may do the job. - Some stuffs Credits: Endless War 1-4 (Heavy inspiration) (????-2009) MegaScripta (?) Warzone VALVe (Half-Life 2, 2004 ,Counter-Strike 1.6, 2003 and CSGO) Ritual Entertainment (CS Condition Zero, 2004) Treyarch (Call of Duty: World at War, 2008) Konami (Metal Gear Solid, 1998-1999) (At this point I still don't know how to compose properly) Users Notes: - Can someone help me in doing different collision parts in the same sprite while specific sprites can only go onto it? Because I tried the when touching specific costume script. This made some of my WIP projects in limbo because of that. - Adding a gun isn't that hard, but it is long process to add one. - The firing sound of the P90 is from a real shooting video at a firing range. - Due to how Scratch seconds script works, there are only 8 (480 RPM), 11 (660 RPM), and 15 (900 RPM) shots per second included in the full-auto guns (This made an inconsistency where the 5.56 rifles should be faster than the AKM, but not too fast). If a weapon doesn't have seconds script, it will fire at 30 (1800 RPM) shot per second, which is only possible for a minigun (Aside from the fastest machine gun). The ammo counter will stay still since there is no second script. - The usual ammo counter I use is now also used as a HP bar in my big hiatus AY RPG project. - This could be a spiritual successor to the long, long dead SWAT - Operation Breakdown due to some issues. - There were some heard rumors that the AS Val is a variant of the SR-3. However, the SR-3 came out in 1996 while both the Val and the Vintorez came out in 1986.
