First of all, I would like to thank @PetalsSilversteam for being brave enough to talk about this and stay strong, despite all that she has been through. As word spreads quickly, you may have heard that @nednilclan has passed away. She had lost her battle with cancer, and passed peacefully and painlessly. I have made this project as a way to remember her, how I looked up to her and how she inspired me to keep drawing. To be honest, if she wasn't on Scratch, I wouldn't have kept drawing at all. This I thank her for. I have never met her personally, but that does not make her passing any less important. I would like to give my condolences to Ned's friends and family. I hope you are well and safe. I understand that this is a difficult time for you, and she is in a better place now. Thank you, Ned, for having such a huge impact on young artists on Scratch from all around the world and inspiring them to draw. You were brave, kind, funny, and a nice person to be around.
