The C's stand for the clan's camps! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Green: Galeclan The camp is a low dip in the long grass, hard to see from a ways off. In the center of the dip is a short stone with a hole at its base. This is the Leader's Stone where they make announcements, and their den is at the bottom. All the other dens are made out rabbit dens lining the sides of the hollow. Yellow: Fallowclan The camp is a small clearing surrounded by sharp brambles. The leader makes his announcements from a jumble of stones called Rock Pile across from the entrance and makes his den beneath the pile. The warriors, apprentices, and queens all make their dens under thick brambles. The Med cats and elders each take half of a fallen log. Blue: Whirlclan The camp is in an open clearing, protected by the surrounding ponds. The leader makes his announcements from a tree stump called Half Tree, and he nests under its base. The rest of the cats all have their own dens under berry bushes. Red: Blazeclan The camp is located in the middle of a clump of cactuses. The leader makes announcements from a stone called Sun Stone in the middle of the clearing and nests underneath it. The warriors, apprentices, and queens all nest in similar burrows scattered throughout the clearing. The Med-den is located inside a jumble of cool rocks. The elder's den is located on the other side of the Med-den.
1: The Oasis The only year-round source of water in Blazeclan territory. According to BC elders tales, Starclan saw the desert clan in need and stole water from Whirlclan to save them from dying out. 2: Lookout rock This rock can see the entire border from miles around at its top. Warriors and young apprentices come here to watch the border for intruders or scout for prey. BE WARNED THOUGH, a fall from the top can result in injury or death. 3: Scale-Stones A large rock that attracts lizards and snakes from all over the desert. Although a very bountiful hunting spot, venomous snakes reside here. 4: Marsh Lakes The many lakes that are scattered around Whirlclan territory. WC elders tales tell of a story where Starclan chose to give Whirlclan so many lakes to reward them for not being as greedy as Blazeclan. Full of prey and protects WC. 5: Flower Field In Green-Leaf, this field is stocked to the brim with flowers. In the winter, it's a barren, thorn filled nightmare. Popular hunting spot. 6: Twist Tree A tall, gnarled oak. Used to train apprentices to climb. A fall could be fatal, however. 7: Rabbit Burrows An expansive system of empty and occupied burrows. An untrained hunter could get easily lost and die in the tunnels. APPRENTICES ARE BANNED HERE. 8: Cactus Patch A close-knit patch of cactus. A long time ago an apprentice found a way to the patch's center and found a clearing. It has been a popular place for apprentices ever since. 9: Oasis River Ever since the clans formed, WC and BC have fought over this river. For Blazeclan, it's a matter of water and food. For Whirlclan, it's a matter of pride. 10: Moon Shard A shard of quartz set in a shallow pool just off of WC territory. The Moon shard in surrounded by thick overhanging trees and a very shallow pool. 11: Herb Patch A patch of herbs protected by overhanging brambles. GC and BC med-cats share the patch and tend to it. 12: Gathering Hollow A low dip in the shared territory of the clans. In the center of a dip a low tree sits. This is where the leaders sit, and where the clans gather around.
