While guarding the equipment on a plane, the plane is taken down by ALTER, and 8-Ball is severely injured. Being saved by ALTER, ALTER brainwashes 8-Ball and forces him to kill his master. Not being able to, ALTER kidnaps his master and makes a better, more powerful hybrid.
