╔════════════════════════════════╗ ║ ❀ ＦＯＲＥＳＴ ＦＬＯＯＲ ❀ ║ ╚════════════════════════════════╝ ᴛᴜʀʙᴏ ᴍᴏᴅᴇ ɴᴏᴛ ꜱᴜɢɢᴇꜱᴛᴇᴅ ❀❀❀ deep beneath the canopies of some lestrai's forests, you can find carpets of glowing flowers crowding the tree's gargantuan trunks. they're beautiful, but don't be fooled- they feed off of the dead, like your earth mushrooms. they don't eat flesh and blood, though; rather, they consume the power of memories. but alas, the memories are lost as the flower uses their energy to fuel itself. all that remains is the glowing power of the emotions, which you can feel if you eat their petals- or better, grind them into juice and heat over a small fire. you have to be careful gathering them- some of the forests are practically perpetually rainy. the ground grows slick and wet, and the thick droplets will douse your wings and make them too heavy to fly (if you are a flying creature, that is). shelter under the leaves and take care not to fall. i find that the different colors taste just a little different, but, well, the human tongue can't discern emotions. the cyan ones here signify cerazi, a feeling which I will equate to sorrow ❀❀❀ ╔════════════════════════════════╗ ᴍᴇꜱꜱᴀɢᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ @ꜱʏᴢɪɢɪɪ: more people have started looking at this, so I think I ought to explain somethings! hi, I'm @syzigii, starbyt's pinpal. you can read more about those here! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/327041427/ starbyt is from the planet of lestrai, which is located in an alternate universe. if I, @syzigii, were a cebraven born and raised on lestrai, I would turn out exactly like starbyt has. starbyt is still on lestrai, but I've dedicated this account to them in order to allow them to share their experiences. all the art and the code and such are my depictions of the visuals they send me through their mind. cebravens are telepathic creatures, so every time they speak, I have to translate it into words that we humans understand. anyway, about the project - my focus really wasn't on the music for this one... I was more thinking about the visuals and such. it was really just some random notes i slapped together to sound sort of relaxing and maybe just a little melancholy? it's kind of like the vibe you get from the dreams in NITW. (honestly, this sounds a lot like astral alley from NITW regardless) anyway can we TALK ABOUT how AWESOME this turned out, visually?? like wow?? this looks really nice?? it has so much depth??? and the environment just carries the mood perfectly??? i did not expect this to turn out as well as it did, i really like it :) I'm really proud of the 'ripple' effect I used to portray how it's raining hard in the distance, so it's hard to see, etc. it just turned out so nicely :) here are some credits- all art by me in the scratch editor rain effect visually inspired by (no code was referenced, only the visual appearance) "ripple" effect of bg sprites conceptualized by me everything is coded by me noteblock music is an original composition, you may use (if you REALLY want to) but credit me and link my scratch profile () sound effects either from the scratch library or stock sounds downloaded from youtube. some were slightly edited using audacity. ╚════════════════════════════════╝
