*Intro* Intro of course It's nine o'clock on a Saturday The regular crowd shuffles in There's an old man sitting next to me (Blackeye with some flowers looking up at the sky or whatever, he doesn't seem to recognize her) Makin' love to his tonic and gin He says, "Son, can you play me a memory (Blackeye lip sycnes this) I'm not really sure how it goes But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete When I wore a younger man's clothes" (Memories of when they were both alive) La la la, di da da La la, di da da da dum Sing us a song, you're the piano man (The starclan cats surround her and talk to her) Sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a melody And you've got us feelin' alright Now John at the bar is a friend of mine (Froststar) He gets me my drinks for free And he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke But there's someplace that he'd rather be (In eclipseclan) He says, "Bill, I believe this is killing me" As the smile ran away from his face "Well I'm sure that I could be a movie star If I could get out of this place" (Starclan) Oh, la la la, di da da La la, di da da da dum Now Paul is a real estate novelist (Jake in EclipseClan) Who never had time for a wife And he's talkin' with Davy, who's still in the Navy (Spiritstar) And probably will be for life (Leadership I guess) And the waitress is practicing politics (EclipseStar) As the businessmen slowly get stoned (Sunstar and Moonstar) Yes, they're sharing a drink they call loneliness But it's better than drinkin' alone Sing us a song you're the piano man Sing us a song tonight Well we're all in the mood for a melody And you got us feeling alright It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday And the manager gives me a smile (Um that one cat the inspired Estar, Mstar, and Sstar to make clans) 'Cause he knows that it's me they've been comin' to see To forget about life for a while And the piano, it sounds like a carnival And the microphone smells like a beer And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar And say, "Man, what are you doin' here?" Oh, la la la, di da da La la, di da da da dum Sing us a song you're the piano man Sing us a song tonight Well we're all in the mood for a melody And you got us feeling alright
What I've done stops when you see his eyes. So, like I know that the whole Blackeye part is a little early, but the intro is pretty long, so I started it here. Maybe when the lyrics start, it's Spiritstar or someone walking in, watching him (there's an old man sitting next to me) as he begins to look to the sky and remanence. Some notes: I can't freaking draw tears or scars, making him a challenge. but I think I did okay?? I don't think there was a ref. for him, so I just threw this together with knowledge of his main traits. I tried to show the difference between his red and blue side. Color is going to be a BIG thing for me in this. When he is remembering her, it will be lighter and softer (until her death..) and right now the background isn't necessarily dark, but it's very dull, showing how he feels. Also the trees with the swirls were a funky stylistic choice to emphasize the weirdness of the background and his mental state. Also colorwise, green is definitely Emeraldheart. Now, the green is dull, like her star and the first words. Blue is Blackeye, like the second words, the sky, and him at the beginning. Red is injury, death, basically misfortune, like his scar, half the sky, and the third words, and the last words.. just match... nothing fancy. I went to much into detail, and really, there isn't a lot of weird symbolism or anything, but for at least the beginning, I wanted to make the mood clear with these colors. hAHahA I can't draw backgrounds.
