She is half Japanese and half European, and her name means star in Japanese (星). She has short dark brown hair, brown eyes, and freckles. She usually wears either dark-colored clothes or really pale colors. She looks young for her age, but she is somewhere from 13 to 15. Hoshi is shy and timid, but that doesn't stop her doing what she loves, including writing and cooking. She also loves making various sorts of crafts, including embroidery. She has a soft and beautiful singing voice, although she rarely shows this part of her to others. She is exceptionally observant– and that has played a big role in helping investigate her father's actions. About a year ago, Hoshi and her mom found out that Hoshi's father is the leader of a dangerous criminal organization in their town. Hoshi and her father never had a great relationship because of his tendencies to turn violent, but when she found out about it, she never talked to him again– unless it was for investigating the organization. At home, Hoshi's father was constantly disappearing and, as Hoshi and her mom later found out, running from the police. Hoshi and her mom tried everything to see a kind side of her father, but when they found none, they just had to stick close to each other. She would say that her mom and she did everything together. Hoshi originally started off with a few neighborhood friends to investigate the criminal organization, but as the project grew bigger and bigger, they are now a group of eight. Hoshi usually keeps track of all the notes for their group, tracking everything they knew about the organization.
