Name: Apricotpaw Intended rank: Medicine cat apprentice Clan Age: 8 Moons Gender: She-cat Personality (Try to be as descriptive as you can!): Apricotpaw is a very childish she-cat who enjoys every second of life to the best of her ability. She acts very friendly and kind, with wide sparkling eyes that are eager to see the world, but in reality she's the complete opposite. Apricotpaw is actually very sassy and rude, and only acts kind in order to gain friends that she'll ultimately betray in the end. She flirts with cats in secret, although she'll never commit to a relationship and she'll never actually like any of the cats that she flirts with. She's just in it for the drama. That being said, she also does enjoy setting up cats, sometimes.. er.. ruining already made matches if she thinks that someone would suit one of the cats better than their current mate would. She's **extremely** lazy, but she has a good memory so she was chosen to be a medicine cat apprentice. Backstory: Not that interesting, tbh. Her parents (Dovetree and Mousewhisker) are still alive and she has no siblings. Would you like this character to be a main character, or not?: Up to you! :3 Would you be okay if this character had a mate, or not?: Hmm.. well, it would take a while for her to realize that she actually liked them and that she wasn't just flirting with them for the drama. Would you be okay if this character had kits, or not? No kits, it's.. well, not her style XD What are they especially skilled in and flawed in?: Skilled in sneaking, flawed in fighting Extra: Apricot has large light amber eyes that are tear shaped. She is a thin she-cat, but is otherwise quite large. Although she's not a breed that's known to be big, she's tall for the average cat. She has a glossy pelt that's normally sleek, but sometimes leaves get tangled in it too much so she gives up grooming it for a bit. She has somewhat soft muscels, but her legs are quite powerful. Likes: Plants (Apricot loves all types of plants. Including but not limited to: Flowers, moss, trees, bushes, and herbs) Food (Apricot loves eating, she's just naturally a bit shrimpy) Matchmaking (She adores matchmaking, even if it sometimes has questioning results) Birds (Her favorite prey is birds, and she likes listening to them sing.) Gossip (Apricot knows almost everything that's going on in ___Clan, even if most of it is fake) Dislikes: Storms (Apricot doesn't like the loud lightning and how it sometimes knocks plants down. She's also not a fan of it getting her fur wet.) Low Ranks (She dislikes cats with low ranks unless they have a lot of influence throughout the Clan.) Not Being Talked About (She loves being talked about, and she finds it sad when someone isn't talking about her. However, she also gets jealous when she sees someone that she knows talking to someone else, so I guess it's a lose-lose situation..) She doesn't really care about rules, but she does the flirting in secret because that way she can flirt with multiple cats without the others finding out. If she was a human, she would be a gold digger. Credits: Dunder for the art ()
Apricotpaw is one of my favorite OCs at the moment :3 Here was her first RP so that you get a bit more of her personality (Gullberry belongs to @Cloverpuddle): Apricotpaw was sitting next to the medicine cats den, grooming herself as she took small breaks to look up at the sky. Gullberry hobbled into camp with a wad of beech leaves in his mouth. He needed them for his leg. Apricotpaw looked up at him. She had no idea how anybody could manage to live with a limp leg. He smiled at her in a friendly way. "Hey, can I get some help dressing my leg?" The black tom limped toward the medicine's den, almost tripping at the entrance and bumping into the herb pile... again. She let out a small sigh, but she stood up and followed him into the den anyway, putting on a smile. Although she wasn't in the mood to be happy - he did just interrupt what she was doing, after all -, he was still her mentor so it would be in her favor to be on good terms with him. Gullberry sat down and stretched his back leg out, clawing off the beech leaves. She sat down next to him, curling her tail around her paws. She thought that maybe if she just sat there and didn't move, then he might forget about her presence and she wouldn't have to do anything. A slim chance, but a chance nonetheless. He removed the leaves and the sticks, before limping to grab a few newer sticks. He noticed that she wasn't moving, and he didn't want to bother her, so he didn't speak. Realizing that her plan was working, she went stiff. She had to yawn, but yawning would mean moving /and/ making sound. He was currently very confused. Why was she so stiff, was she in pain? He started to wrap his leg by himself, falling over several times. She opened her mouth slightly when he fell, wanting to say something, but her laziness took over. "Done!" He meowed proudly, getting up. "Uhh, thanks for your help." He didn't know why he was saying thanks to her, she really did nothing. It was the polite thing to do, right? "You're welcome!" She said, smiling sweetly as if she did everything instead of him. "You're a good apprentice?" He added slowly, wanting her to not hate him. "Thank you!" She purred, although she was secretly agreeing with him. "Would you like to go check the marigold flowers with me?" He asked hopefully. "Mmm..." She thought for a few seconds before shrugging. "Sure, why not." /I hope she'll actually do something./ He thought miserably. She yawned, her tail flicking. "Let's go!" He got up slowly and padded toward camp exit. She followed him, moving just as slow, if not slower. He looked back at her with wide eyes. "Come on, a little faster." She slightly picked up the pace. Gullberry padded out into territory, already panting because of his short legs. She continued to follow him. She also felt tired, but that was because of.. well, she's Apricotpaw. "The marigold is fairly close to the sea, so it's quite a walk." She nodded. "It sure is." He continued to walk, proud he got so far without tripping. She walked for a few more seconds before asking, "Are we there yet?" "Almost." He meowed. The scent of salt was getting more prominent, so he knew they were near. Apricotpaw waited a few more seconds. "How about now?"
