[Okay, I am actually super proud of this! ^^ I wanted to do the Concrete Jungle meme with her, but I didn't have time. I would definitely do it if I won her. I also think she would be awesome on a sticker too.] Name: Danu (It comes from the name for the Celtic godess of nature.) Age: 22 years (dog equivalent) Bio: Danu was born in the forests of Ireland. These forests were full of magical beings, including fairies and elves. Now, in Irish folklore, fairies are not good natured. They are creatures of mischief. Danu was sleeping in the shade of an ancient tree one night when one of the fairies made a bet with an elf that he could pull off the biggest shenanigan of all. He summoned the power of the night and channeled it into Danu. Danu was merged with the tree. The fairy and the elf disappeared, leaving Danu as a creature that was truly one with nature. Nothing seemed to change other than having antlers. But then a few nights later, Danu awoke to a sound. She called out, frightened. A dog stepped out from behind a nearby tree. Danu was puzzled. She could tell it was a dog, but it wasn't like her. She could see through his greenish glowing fur. The apparation begged her to help him. He explained that he was no longer amongst the living, and that for him to move on to the afterlife, he had to be at peace. However, he died unexpectedly while he was still young. He believes that the cause of his death was murder. Danu promises to help the ghost, who introduces himself as Jack. Together, they investigate Jack's tragic past. Danu later discovers that she can communicate with plants, which aids her in the investigation. ‐-----‐-------------------------------------------------- Oh gosh. It was so fun to develop a story for her. I didn't want to go with the typical, because I am very into paranormal and mystery stories. Usually when I first see a character, I come up with a baseline story (like the one above) and then I really develop the characters as I write stories about them. I would live to make this into an actual story once I get through the first isssue of Timekeepers.
