Name: Ivan Age: 15 Personality: Shy, Nervous/Anxious, Obedient, Honest and Pessimistic Likes: Pleasing Jay, Chocolate chip cookies Dislikes: Bullies, School, People Name: Jay Age: 16 Personality: Joyful, Sociable, Irresponsible, Egotistical, Curious and Optimistic Likes: Hanging out with Ivan, being in the spotlight Dislikes: Ivan disagreeing with him, Spiders Backstory of Ivan and Jay (sorry it's so long but please read ^^'): Ivan and Jay were inseparable. They both have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Everything was good until the two had to go to high school. Suddenly, the two took different paths. Jay became the star of the school; popular, good looking and talented whilst Ivan was in his shadow. Ivan always tried his best to remain friends with him so he began to always take his lead rather than doing things for himself. He didn't want to lose his best and only friend. Not long after Ivan started high school, he was bullied for being the outcast who was born with a deficiency which was that he lacked colour. Jay never seemed to notice Ivan's bullies and the bullying only got more and more aggressive which caused Ivan to fall into depression. Whenever Ivan tried to tell Jay about the bullying he always said that he is most likely exaggerating. One day when they were walking back from school and discussing what they were going to do during the summer holidays, a poster flew up to them. Jay immediately picked it up and read out loud. It was an advertisement for a Psychic medium that had just opened her store. Jay desperately wanted to go so he could find out his future. Despite Ivan not wanting to go, he went with Jay in the end. When they entered the store they were greeted by a mysterious looking woman. She greeted them and told them to sit down. The medium asked them what they wanted to find out and Jay told her about wanting to see his future. Ivan said the same but he didn't believe that this woman could possibly 'see' anything. The magic crystal ball glowed up and the medium was shocked. She told them that they were desperately searched for in the Land of Tenebris. She changed form and turned into a strange looking red animal that was quite similar to a cat. Jay and Ivan were astounded. The medium told them that to they must help the Land of Tenebris as it suffers from eternal darkness and gloom. Jay questioned why they were needed and why not anyone else could help. The medium told him that although him and Ivan might not seem special, in the Land of Tenebris they would be really strong if they trained regularly in the kingdom. Jay was excited and eager to help out as he could imagine himself being the 'hero'. Ivan didn't know what to think of it, he was panicking. Jay told Ivan it was going to be okay and that he accepts the challenge. Ivan sighed and went along with Jay. The medium smiled and thanked them for their bravery on taking the task. Ivan asked if she could lead them or at least help them in any way. She thought for a while and replied that she could grant them one wish each but for a small price. The price was that they would have to give her a small piece of their soul. It was a painful procedure but that would enable her to grant them their wish. Ivan was cautious about the idea but Jay was already thinking what he would want. He asked to have a 'super power' or something to make him 'unique'. The medium nodded and turned to Ivan. He didn't want to ask for anything but mumbled out that he would want to be in colour. The medium was quite surprised and asked if he was sure that, that was what he wanted out of all the things she could give him. He eventually agreed and the medium began applying a spell on the two. The pain was undeniably hurting them and they broke out into tears. Once the procedure was over, the two received what they had wished for and were now in their new form. Ivan was in colour and Jay was granted a third eye which could cause anyone he selected to be turned into unbreakable ice. The two were amazed and when they wanted to thank the medium she was already gone along with the store and everything around them. Everything blacked out and they woke up in a land... that land was the Land of Tenebris...
