I grabbed my bow, and a rope, tied the rope to one leg of our golden table and threw the other out the window like I’d done multiple times before. This time was different, I knew I’d gotten caught the other times I tried, but this time I felt the wind of change was on my side. I ran silently to my quiver put it on and jumped out the window to start the 3 story climb down. When I had gotten to my father's window I peeked in, he was asleep. Carefully I opened the window and sneaked in, opened the small safe with only a hundredth of his wealth inside. I took only a million of billions inside. I closed it and left it on the exact number it was left on before I touched it. If I didn’t my father wouldn’t have it overlooked, he’d send the alarm and have everyone of our soldiers after the thief, me. My home, the Yaerien style, reminds me of the Chinese palaces that we destroyed when we took over this planet. The people we took over have dull senses, unlike us. Everyone wishes they could be me, I bet people will notice me tonight and try to take me in only to return me to the palace for a reward. They probably hope to be the next heir to the throne or at least have as much cash as we do. I like how we adapted to the old planet’s life forms way of authority, money. Once I reached the end of the rope I realized I wasn’t at the ground yet. So I started to kick away from the wall after about 5 strong kicks I felt ground and let go. I landed on one of the flat rooftops, this was the farthest I’ve gotten yet. By the time day came I’d be long gone. I’d miss the day my father stepped down and I became Queen of Yaerien. Something I wanted to miss, I didn’t want to be cooped up in a castle my whole life, I wanted to explore. I ran on the rooftops for 30 minutes until I reached the last house, then I jumped down into the kingdom’s garden. I landed in a fairly large bush. It took me quite some time to pick each twig out of my hair. When I had finished I saw a guard from the palace guarding the park to make sure no one went in or out. My family wasn’t the highest form of royalty, the Emperor and his family were. The Emperor want everyone to stay in their assigned kingdoms. If they didn’t they’d be brought in front of him and might be sent to factories to make the Emperor more money or grow the crops and animals for us to eat. I didn’t want to be one of those people, so I stayed creeping along through the bushes. Crack, oops! The guard whipped to look at the bushes where I was. I melted further into the bushes and kept moving. The guard, who was obviously a male he had a beard, slowly walked to the bushes where I used to be. He took out his sword and said, “Who goes there!” I could tell that he had just been recruited, his hand was shaking. I had to be much more careful than I had been, now that his senses where up it would be harder to escape. Good thing that last roof was close to the gates. Now I could reach out and touch the outside walls. The tricky part was next, the gates were always open but there was no bushes within 10 feet of it. I knew what to do it was risky, I might be thrown into the dungeon for it but I had to escape. I ran right in between the doors, pulled out my bow and notched an arrow aimed near the guard who could now see me. To him I was just a black figure, it was funny seeing how scared he was, his sword now shaking rapidly. I took a deep breath, and everything became slower, I could see the arrow spiraling towards him hear his scream as he turned and saw the arrow hit the wall beside him. I ran, faster than I even thought I could, thoughts endlessly spinning in my head, when father had said good night early I knew he had never thought that this would happen Now I was running through a forest, my father always told me that this was the most unnavigable forest ever. I am exactly 3.89 miles from the kingdom now, in the middle of nowhere. I see a clearing up ahead, Yawn, was that me? Oh, I'm starting to get way too sleepy, soon I might end up running home. I have decided that I will take a short nap, I guess it wouldn’t hurt.
