You are a lonely blobfish at the bottom of the sea when suddenly, deep sea trawler nets appear! use the mouse to dodge and weave your way through the nets with what little muscle you have in your body (blobfish have no real skeleton and hardly any muscles). eat the food to slow down the nets and get a higher score.
This game is based on a real life issue that all blobfish must face. Every year blobfish get caught and die in deep sea trawler nets, they can't see the nets because they live so deep down in the ocean that there's no light, so how could they get out of the way? Sadly because of this blobfish are rare and in terrible danger. the real reason that they have a sad face is that all the pictures you see of them have suffered this cruel fate. If you look at a picture of a blobfish in water it doesn't look ugly, or even sad. This is because the blobfish have specially adapted bodies that are made of jelly so they can survive in their habitat. Where they live there can be over a kilometre of water on top of you. So if you go down there you would be squished by the water but the blobfishes blobby body is so squishy that it can handle all the pressure of the water. But when you take the blobfish out of water its body decompresses and looks ugly. there are only a few blobfish left under the sea and it is the only creature on earth with this amazing adaptation so we need to help them, after all it is us who are doing this to these incredible creatures. SAVE THE BLOBFISH!!!
