The pen size gets larger as the z position gets closer to the camera This Raytraces in 4D, then plots the points in 3D with perspective It shows how hyperspheres are made up of multiple other spheres, phong is actually pretty neat with these spheres! It also shows how planes are very weird... sadly the perspective isn't great for the planes and I kinda messed up the shading for them a bit, but still. I actually had to do a lot of work to make this loop nice tbh...
@Canthiar for the essentially teaching me raytracers (though just from their projects) #ray #madness The hyperplane here I am very fond of, just because of its properties that I would not expect, yet I would, like how there are infinite w-values for it... I wasn't expecting that, but it makes sense. You can make your own 4D scenes with these, the blocks for adding hyperspheres and hyperplanes are inside. I could've made a raymarcher and done some fractals... hmm... Infinite hyperspheres actually sound kinda scary tbh ._.
