BOTH - Miyar and Riyak woke up one day to see their parents, who were both guards, dead. They didn't know it at that time, but a few flamevixes had snuck over and killed them (They live close by the border). In a panicked frenzy, they ran off, accidentally crossing into flamevix territory. They got into a fight with the same flamevixes who ended their parents' lives. The flamevixes bragged about this to Riyak and Miyar after recognizing that they looked like the parents. Riyak and Miyar were barely able to escape with their lives, and Miyar's tail ended up getting burnt off. They ran back to the Earth Kingdom and ran into "the family without family" and lived with them ever since. MIYAR - Seeing her parents dead shook Miyar to the core. She used to be an open and friendly vix, but now she is withdrawn, quiet, and scared. To make it worse, her tail was burnt off, which scarred her even more. When she decides to come out from her shell, her sweet and compassionate nature comes through. Her time of being quiet has made her very observant. She's smart for her age and often is helping her older brother make decisions. Seeing her brother snap at run-in with the flamevixes scared her even more, and she's wary of him getting violent like that. RIYAK - The death of Riyak's parents turned him into a violent and angry viz. He doesn't talk much, and in the rare occasions where he does, he's usually screaming or snapping at someone. He keeps to himself and doesn't trust anyone apart from himself and Miyar. He's warming up to the family without a family, but it's a gradual and slow change. He protects Miyar with his life and is willing to rip anyone who hurts her to pieces. The run-in with the flamevixes fueled his anger. Miyar and Riyak were only able to escape because of Riyak's sheer will, strength, and power strength. It's the angriest and most violent he's gotten. He realized quickly that his violent side scared Miyar, so he attempts to be less violent, though his angry nature never has left him.
