rules for the dta; - no base, tracing, or anything. must be original artwork. will be automatically disqualified - you may make changes to the design, but it must be recognizable. also follow the softtail art rules - softtails never stand on 2 paws, do not turn it into a furry. the tails cannot be lifted, they are heavy and therefore the wolf cannot lift its tail - do not copy the pose they are currently in, its extremely annoying, please be original with the pose - you can enter for as many as you'd like, but you are only winning one - you can shade, animate or whatever, that wont up your chance of winning though - give it an original name, id like to see your name ideas lol - please do not rip-off the designs, it makes me sad. instead, you can ask for a custom similar to one if you're that desperate - due date is going to be may 25th, turn in entries before the due date, anything on or after does not count ... this is a semi-open original species by @fluffpie to recieve a softtail wolf, you can obtain it by dta/ota's hosted, or if you are a close enough friend of mine, i can create a custom for you, just ask me. I chose the name Cheiko because this design is pretty transparently based after a kitsune which are described to be very intelligent and wise. The name Cheiko means "wise child" and i thought it was fitting!! made the art w/ autodesk sketchbook
