5/11/2026 Description: Updated the M42 jump jacket with more details (look at the pockets) and the M1C helmet, which meant removing the chin cup because paratroopers removed it sometime after jumping, as it was in the way. Removed the M1923 cartridge belt and replaced it with an M1936 pistol belt with ammunition contained in rigger-made pouches because that was the norm during the Normandy campaign, since paratroopers wanted to cram as much ammunition as they could. I don't know why I returned to this project. I just have nothing better to do. 3/13/2024 Description: More adjustments for accuracy after doing some further research. I'll add more in the future. 3/14/2024 Pi Day Fixed up the entire body and kit. I made the suspenders way better and added a bandolier. Removed the helmet first aid pouches as those were not used until later on. 10/29/2022 Description: Decided to make some minor modifications to this project by making the uniform a bit more accurate. The original inspiration was the 101st Airborne during Normandy so I kept it like that. Please let me know if there is anything else you would like me to add and I may also make more of these unit posters if time permits it. You can go inside the costumes if you want to see the changes or if you want to see the original 2020 version. 5/24/2020 Description: Inspired by Day of Infamy Battle Hymn of The Republic - Capitol Symphony Orchestra
