This is a music maker! You can compose your own music and save it as code. Here are the instructions: Tap on the rectangles to select the notes. Each column of rectangles is one beat, so pick one note from each column. Or, you can just leave it blank for a rest. Compose your music from left to right. Use the arrow buttons to scroll. - Press "play" to listen to your music. - Once you are done composing your music, press "save". Triple click the code that pops up, copy it, and paste it into a google doc or something. You can also comment it below! - If you want to enter your code (or someone else's code), click "Load code" to load it. - Change around the "number of notes" to put more or less notes in your song. Sorry, I couldn't give you more notes to compose because Scratch 3 has a clone limit to prevent lag. Comment _:D_ if you read all the instructions! (It makes a scratch cat emoji)
Finally, I finished this project! This took me many months to make... I hope you can see all the hard work I put in. Please tell me what other features you would like me to add! Here are some songs (written by others) that I recreated: Coffin dance! 2457005764620060005900595962006059570057727172717216100 Believer (by Imagine Dragons): 165700640062006260620062646260575504111 Unity (by TheFatRat): 1271690067640062640000000016200 BTW, I first thought of this project idea and started working on it at around April 2020. ========== CHANGE LOG ========== 6/15/2020 - Beta version of the project is shared for testing. 6/16/2020 - Fixed bug: now it doesn't glitch out when the number of notes is only 1 digit. 6/16/2020 - Project unshared for bug fixing. 6/29/2020 - Many bug fixes, reduced lag, more notes, and less confusing buttons. Project reshared. 6/29/2020 - Added a green rectangle thing that tells you which note is being played. (@BenjaminWins11 's idea) 6/30/2020 - All the notes are in one sprite now, instead of one sprite for each column. The code is a lot more efficient. 7/5/2020 - Minor bug fixes. Thumbnail now shows for 1 second when you first click the flag. 7/9/2020 - Smoother buttons. Improved the ask-for-code message. 7/31/2020 - Less laggy buttons. 9/20/2020 - Made the scrolling smoother. Thumbnail now actually shows before you click the green flag. (Don't know why it didn't show before, I just created 2 different thumbnail sprites and now they're showing.) 10/12/2020 - Fixed a bug with scrolling. --------------- CREDITS --------------- Special thanks to 's scrolling platformer tutorials on YouTube for teaching me how to make all my clones scroll. That was a HUGE help! Thanks to for giving me feedback on this project and helping me improve it. Thanks to 's "Fizmo - Puzzle Game" for the inspiration to make this project. And also for showing me it's possible to make a project almost completely out of clones. Here is the awesome project: Also thanks to these people for proposing this to be featured (and giving me more inspiration to really improve this): - - - - And thanks to all of you who loved and faved to show me support! Comment _:P_ if you read all the Notes and Credits! (it turns into a :P emoji)
