Do I have to tell you what Netflix is? I hope not, they are one of the biggest streaming platforms on the internet. Anyway, I wanted to mix things up and make something different. So I fired up Affinity Designer and went to town designing my own idea for an interface. Hey might I just add that I'm in no way good at UI design or anything of the sort, just wanna try something new. Element 1 - Homepage I wanted the homepage to have a convenient tool for returning viewers to pick up where they left off, so I made banner that gives a striking way of conveying it. Element 2 - Browse I made this page have more content upon first going to the section, so the banner at the top is reduced to give more emphasis to the shows and content. Element 3 - My List I kept a similar layout to the browse section. The main difference is that it would be more personalized and tailored to a viewer. Element 4 - Show Overview I wanted this to be really bold and colourful, so blurring the image gave me that look in a really cool way. A lot of people share how long they take to design their projects, and I'm kinda embarrassed to admit that this took like a week and a half to make... Hey so that's about it, if you wanna see more design abominations, check out these studios: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5233800/ and https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26481950/ Music: Nico And The Niners by twenty one pilots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwfk9sSy9ic Sorry for the low quality images, couldn't get Scratch to play nice with affinity Designer and SVG files. I have a Dribbble account now that I've uploaded a HQ version of the Show Overview part: https://dribbble.com/shots/11531050-Netflix-Overview-Redesign Also thank you for all the love and support <3 What's this?
