Just a really random quick art of RE with him delivering a message to another country, likely New York or England, during the few periods of calm of the war. I also tried shading. Also, not-very-fun fact, during WW1, barbed wire was used to block advancing troops, and large areas of barbed wire were called 'No Man's Land'. This was more of a excuse to show off his color palette more than anything, although it is either tinted red or darkened, so I dunno.
None, unless you count inspiration from the actual modern Russian Medals. He should actually have two stars on a dark greenish wing, but that is visually boring, so I went with a red wing, two gold-orange stripes, and two yellow stars.
