Here is (another) story! This is set in the Star Wars galaxy, years and years after the rise of skywalker. Rey (apparently) started a new Jedi order on Tatooine. A bit of backstory is Airēa was the next sith, and had lived her entire life on Exogol, when Jamie (Jamertella, but, hey, nicknames are better) Rylia, and July came to turn her back to the light. And then... well, you’ll just have to read the rest. One afternoon, Jedi Knight July Weathers was walking down on of the unnecessarily long halls in the new Jedi temple on Tatooine. She saw that one of the doors to the bedrooms was wide open, slashing a line of warmer light across the floor, and there was no-one in sight. Well, I should probably close it, as, according to the consul, I’m not good at anything other then room service, even if I have a padawan and everything... July thought, walking over to the door. When she peaked her head into the room, to make sure it was empty, what she saw definitely took her by surprise. It was that sith girl, lying slumped against her dresser, the rest of her room a mess. The girl, Airēa, was it?, was clutching her midsection and groaning. “O-oh, my stars... a-are you alright?” July asked, shakily walking into the messy room. “Do... do I look... alright?” The injured sith girl snapped, raising her head so she could see July better. “Where’s....... where is.. she?” “Where is who? What happened? Are you going to die?!” July said, and then began pacing, carefully stepping over scattered bracelets and other items that had fallen to the floor. “Jamie. Rylia. Kill. Exogol. Where she’s head... head.. headed.” Airēa gasped out. “You want me to get Rylia? She’s ‘busy’, apparently.” “Jamie. I need to tell her... her about.. her brother...” Airēa said, her voice barely more then a whisper “So... you want me to get Jamie? Just nod... you look like you’re in a lot of pain.” July fretted. Airēa gave her the evil eye, which she was remarkably good at, one might add, and nodded slightly. “O-okay... so.. I don’t want to leave you... I’ll just use my comm.” July dug around in the pocket of her robe. Where did I put that thing? July thought, Why are commas always so hard to find? Just then, when July finally found her comm, Jamie burst into the room. July dogged out of the way as Jamie hared straight to Airēa. “What happen? With Rylia? WHAT?!” Jamie said, looking more worried then mad. “Just... force.. heal.. doofus.” Airēa said. She looked much better already, as if just seeing her best friend made her feel better. “Use the force to heal you? I-I don’t know. It sounds risky. Besides, you said, if the person is to close to death it might not work.” Jamie said nervously. “Do... it.. now....” Airēa said, her eyelids fluttering closed for a moment. “Not.... any.... left...” “Okay! I’ll do it! Just don’t die, Airēa. Don’t you dare.” Jamie said, putting her hand on Airēa’s shoulder. July didn’t have a good view of what happened next, or maybe it was just so surreal that she couldn’t process it. But a few moments later, Airēa stood up and swept the fallen things aside. “Thanks, Jamie. Though you did take your time.” Airēa said primly. “Well, you still insulted me, even will a lightsaber wound, so, why I am even surprised?” Jamie said, “You said something about Rylia? And... did she....?” She trailed off. Jamie didn’t need to finish that question, because July knew something was up with Rylia, and the other two girls probably knew even more, as Rylia never told July anything. “It was her. Apparently, she’s jealous because we’re friends, and now she wants me dead, and is probably already on my throne.” The fact that Airēa still regarded the throne of the sith as her own probably would have concerned July more if she hadn’t just found out that her padawan was now on her way to the sacred sith planet. “She- seriously? What did I do wrong?” July fretted, running her hand through her hair. Jamie and Airēa looked at her as if they forgot she was there. “You didn’t do anything wrong.” Airēa said after a pause. “She was doomed to turn a while ago. But, alas,” Airēa sighed dramatically, “the consul didn’t listen to ‘the sith girl’, and now we have this to deal with.” “Well, what do we do, Airēa? You know the most about this kind of stuff. How do we stop her?” Jamie pointed out reasonably. “No ‘we.’ I’m going to defeat her, and prove to the consul that I am trust worthy.” Airēa said stubbornly, as if said Jedi hadn’t Just impaled her with a saber and left her defenseless. “I’m not letting you go alone. She overpowered you.” Jamie said, just as stubbornly as Airēa.
Finish the top part first >:3 Then read on down. . . . . “She stabbed me in the back. Most literally. But Rylia won’t get the drop again. I won’t let her. I AM more powerful then her. I will CRUSH her!” Airēa said passionately. Honestly, July found her outburst more then a little terrifying. She definitely saw why everyone was scared of Airēa. Personally, July just hadn’t gotten close enough to witness Airēa’s... what? Insanity? until now. “Calm down! How about you start fighting her alone, and if she overpowers you, July and I will back you up.” Jamie said. “That sounds reasonable.” July piped in, “Aside from the part where I come with you. I’m not going to Exogol, of all places, again.” “Not even to save your padawan? Ugh, why am I surprised? Most Jedi are too peaceful and spineless to do what must be done.” Airēa scoffed, sliding a blaster in one boot and a dagger in the other. July was offended at what Airēa said. Mostly because it was true. July didn’t want to provoke anyone, thus she was peaceful, and she was... Well, she was to scared to fight someone who could betray someone as powerful as Airēa, seemingly with ease. “You’re right... most of the time.. but today, today I’ll prove you wrong. I’ll go with you to stop Rylia. Then I’m coming right back, and cowering at the back of the crowd, alright?” July said, then immediately regretted it as Airēa smirked. “Good. Now, let’s get out of here.” Thanks to George Lucas for Star Wars, My brain for the story, and IbisPaint X for the program with which I drew that (awesome) picture. Also, thanks to thefatrat for the song in the background, Stronger, which I have pegged as Airēa’s theme song.
