····································· « ☆ » ····································· [ double click flag to prevent lag :'0 ] Part 13 for this silhouette MAP: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/398683727 hosted by @needless2say Finished! ^^ I've never done a silhouette map before, so this was actually a lot of fun. It's a lot easier and quicker to animate, and I really like the result! Since I didn't have to worry about coloring or shading, I experimented a bit with the animation, I guess? At least for the jumping part. for @needless2say about the part and such: In the first two sections, there's some "transparent lines" because of how I filled it in and did the lineart, so I'm not sure if I fully counts as a "silhouette," sorry! Just lmk if I should change that. :') And for the sprites, I was able to use only one, but for the transitions I used the "brightness" effect in scratch. (i tried using a wave-like one, but it ended up being too long ;w;) In the backdrops, I didn't animate, but I do have different backdrops for each of the 3 "sections" I divided the part into, and I added the brightness effect to the backgrounds. (so there is coding in the backdrops, again, lmk if I should change that) aah okay, this took me longer than I anticipated because the program I use, Krita, wasn't working properly and I was having a lot of trouble with it after I did part of the sketch/rough animation. (I have a long comment on my profile about that xD) I was able to copy some of the frames, though, and I fixed it. after that, I was actually able to do finish it completely all today, so that's a first, lol. (again, it takes SO much less time to do silhouette animation, this was actually pretty relaxing to do. I'll probably make a lot more animations like this in the future :'0) ····································· « ☆ » ····································· [ ᴄʀᴇᴅɪᴛs ] ➶ art: @snowywaffles (me) ➶ code: @snowywaffles (me) ➶ characters: (me) (ocs are aster and ember <33) ➶ program used: Krita ➶ music: Sea of Atlas ➶ map host: time taken: about 4 hours? ····································· « ☆ » ·····································
