Do you have what it takes to protect the city of Bopalopalous from an evil foreign menace? Collect and purchase power ups, shoot tons of different enemies, complete levels, earn high-scores, and complete a full, classic shoot-em-up game! (BOP-(uh)-LOP-(uh)-LOUS) THIS GAME CAN TAKE A WHILE TO LOAD, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PLAYING ON A WEAKER DEVICE. Most of the instructions/controls are in an in-game tutorial, but here's some extra advice: ✈ Play in full screen! (It helps, trust me) ✈ Move with arrow keys OR WASD. ✈ Once a power-up falls, shoot it 3 times to open it! ✈ If you're having trouble with a level and keep dying, you'll eventually receive the option to gain a bonus. This acts as a "skip" to make difficult portions of the game easier. (Keep in mind though, that with this, you won't be able to add your highscore for that stage!) Oh, and by the way- If you were wondering what the grasshoppers were, they're actually "grassBOPPERS" ... it was funnier at the time I swear-
This game was originally based on an inside joke that I had with a friend during school about the music artist Tobi Lou. So, if some of the game seems a little "weird," then this may explain why. Now, I know what you're thinking: "@37457, you don't release something for almost half a year, and when you do it's an inside joke?" And my response to that is... "I think everyone can enjoy this game even if they don't get the original joke.
