Ooh yay! I actually drew my own character this time instead of making fanart :0 Her name is Lumibelle or Lumi, she’s irritating as heck but we love her anyways -w- 1. First you want to line the eyes, and let the eyelashes be feathery at the ends. If there are other eyelashes (like the little droplet-y things here) then do those too 2. Line the bangs! You want to do them in long soft strokes, don’t press down too hard. You want to have diversity between the width in the lines without making them too thick. In most anime-inspired styles, the lines are thin and delicate, which is what you want here 3. Do the little hair things that frame the face in a similar way 4. Add some shading, but don’t make it too dark because you still need to color it pshh. Make the lines super thin and feathery 5. Line the head stuff :> 6. Erase the pencil aha 7. Blush and nose lines!! The blush is thin nya 8. I lined the right hair bun first! Be sure to make it have the same line width and variation as the other hair so that it looks like it fits into the picture 9. Same with the other one! 10. Erase the pencil ofc 11. Do the lines for the eyes! I made them thicc but either way is fine 12. I added some more pen in areas with more shadow 13. Hmm I added eye details 14. Here’s where I started coloring! I did the base skin tone and added more pink in the blushy parts 15. Little shading on the nose ehehe 16. I first did a layer of very light blue for the bangs 17. Uh then I used a darker blue and a purply blue to do shading, and blended it with the light one 18. Rest of the bangs 19. Hair framing face 20. Hair on the sides of head 21. Right bun 22. Hair on right side of head 23. Left bun 24. Hair on left side of head 25. I added some more solid blue shading in parts 26. Eyes 27. I did some bells aha 28. Purple headband 29. Background 30. White pen, and we’re finished!! So yeah I do that sometimes, draw I mean Now I gotta go write a blog about radiation sickness for chemistry because our teacher want us to s u f f e r :’)
