I assume by now you've heard what's happening. If not, google "George Floyd", and your question is going to be answered. What's happening is not okay. And it will never be okay. It never /has/ been okay. I want you to listen to me when i tell you this; People aren't their skin color-- they're people. Skin color doesn't matter at all-- how they choose to act does. People of Color are mistreated every day-- and many times, worse than that. Sent to jail or /killed/ for something they don't deserve. If you've made racist jokes before, stop. It's not funny. Hate crimes are when someone commits a crime against someone usually of a minority, or targeted because of something they are. They happen. And it's not okay. They happen to gay people, or people with a different religion. They happen to people of color. What color you are isn't a choice. You don't choose to be that way. Just like white people don't choose their race, neither do people of color. And yet these things happen. Why? I don't know. But i know it's unfair, and it's not okay. Stand together and stay strong. Because Black Lives Matter. Asian lives matter, too! So do South American. And Filipino. Latino? yeah. Inuit too. Native American lives matter. Native /anywhere/, your life matters. White? Mixed races? Anything in between? You ALL matter. So much. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You matter. please post #BlackLivesMatter in your about me or wiwo.
