MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE GREEN FLAG TWICE!!! This is a simulation of docking to the International Space station. Use the arrow keys to translate left, right, up, and down. Use w to move forward and s to move backward. NEW: Use a and d to change the roll of the spacecraft. (requested by @Inspiron_13) Press SPACE to show/hide coordinates and stuff (requested by @Inspiron_13) Keep in mind that in space, there is no gravity so once you start moving in one direction you will keep moving unless there is an equal force opposing that. To dock, your green dot must match in position to the red dot and your distance to the ISS has to be under 0.1 Your speed while docking to the ISS must be under 0.1 or else you will risk running into the ISS and crashing.
Based on SpaceX's simulation: iss-sim.spacex.com Check this out: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/422779072 - Last updated 12/28/2020 - Since many people are viewing this, I decided to make it more interesting - I made the space station 3D! I also added roll because of one of the comments Thanks to this project for some of the math! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/134287095 #ISS #International #Space #station
