The only bad side is that you'll have to find a way to memorize them. Simplicity filters the letters and makes the password easier to type or easier to memorize. At level 0, the password may contain special characters like <, >, ', etc. At level 1, it will still contain special characters, but all of them come from the numbers, like % or #. At level 2, the password will only contain letters and numbers. Length is self-explanatory.
