Sequel: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/418452460/ I'd play this one in fullscreen if I were you. Welcome to Again, my latest platformer! Every time you die in a platformer, you have to get up and try again. This platformer is that in a nutshell. After completing a level, you get to see all of those times you died played over one another. The levels are tough, but shouldn't be so tough that you can't complete them (except for the E levels—those really are tough). You proceed through the levels, row by row, and each time you gain a new ability or something changes. There are 25 main levels and 11 extra levels (the E's and the yellow ones). The E levels are bonus levels that are extra difficult, and the yellow levels are level ideas that I had which didn't fit in with the rest of the game. Arrow keys or WASD to move. C to dash. P to change dash. Same stuff. Press that X in the corner to exit the level. Have fun! hmm what else... This game is technically mobile friendly, but it's very difficult on mobile. If you die a lot the replay might lag. Notice anything wrong? Feel free to leave a comment below! #games #games #games #games #games
Want more challenging levels? Check this project out: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/416053019/ Boss rush: This replays all of your deaths at once after you beat a level. Super Meat Boy does the same. I'll admit that I've never actually played Super Meat boy, but I found the concept fascinating and started figuring out how I could do the same in scratch. That turned into this! Thanks to: Super Meat Boy for the inspiration Hollow Knight and Team Cherry for the White Palace song, which seemed appropriate for this game (Although it is distinctly lacking the sound of dozens of saws) -MoonMage- and the craft shop for the stickman animation. You can find the craft shop here: Inkscape for letting me upload my notes without downgrading the quality. Designing levels for a fully functional sequel, which is scrolling. This will be my next project. Change log: August 13th: added death animation and sound. Made 3.2 easier. August 4th: changed what the goal looks like, finally. June 17th: fixed bug that prevented the second level of each row from loading correctly. June 15th: Released game! June 1st: began designing a script that would replay all of your deaths at once. Took way too long to figure out. Here we go.
