Happy pride month wonderful people of scratch! Please remember to be kind to everyone! Words are very powerful and they do linger, so just remember that! My classmates are confused by the term lgbtq+. “Boys should love girls and girls should love boys!” I have been hearing that for most of my life. I even had a person I looked up to at my school sneer down on me and tell me that If I became like “them” I should be sent to therapy. It broke my spirit. But it also made it stronger. So, I just want to say, thank you. Everyone who is kind. Who doesn’t care who you love. Everyone I can call a friend. You give me life. <33
No matter your sexuality or who you identify as, your all beautiful in my eyes! People may push you back, but you just have to keep plowing through! Everything will be ok. I have been there. People don’t have to use their actions to hurt you. Words are just as bad. So please, don’t let anyone tell you that your not appreciated. Your strong and your brave.
