Found this stuffed away among my other old unfinished animations. :P I think this one’s from January, or so... Yes, it is meant to be awkward and choppy and sloppy and all those other synonyms- I would never actually make a decent animation for no reason whatsoever, ha- —- Meet a mythological dinosaur bird with completely fake horns and a questionable sense of style 'cause why not. This is Myrrdon He was formerly a River Cockatrice from Do'ormntt who accidentally accessed his spirit form after a certain... Event... Aand- well, let's just say in the heat of the moment he lost track of where his corporeal form was and... It was not good. But! He's also brilliant. Incredibly brilliant. And also a scientist! So, he quickly realized that as a spirit, he was incredibly unstable, despite having taken the form that his soul most naturally represented itself as. So, he rationalized for a while and, uh, he kinda figured out how to create a primitive carbon-based structure out of nearby molecules using the science of LIFE which he had spent his entire LIFE studying (ha ha bad puns-). Using the limited access into the physical world he had as a spirit, he began capturing plants, invertebrate, and other "primitive" life forms (he's got a moral compass, y'know-) and studying them in an effort to figure out a way to return to normal. Of course, what he doesn't realize is that in doing so he's become wholly detached from his emotions, which would actually have given him his only way to return to normal... Because his emotions would have been able to lead him back to where he had left his corporeal form. But anywaaay, he is capable of manipulating Ultraviolet light and the molecular density of his surroundings and creating illusions and stuff, blah blah blah, I'm not going to elaborate. But yeah, he likes to create an illusion around himself that looks like his corporeal form because, I mean, who wouldn't? XP Though it doesn't have a killing stare, like the real thing. Though- uh, during a certain encounter with a couple foreign hominids, he does take the form of a human... Just not a Do'ormnttine one.
Forget Cockatiels and Cockatoos- I'm really more of a COCKATRICE person! >:) Nohedoesnothavehairthatisapoorlydrawncrestokay- --- CREDITS --- This was done entirely on mobile please don't stare too hard at how wobbly it is- XP Aaand Scratch! Bitmap will forever rule as the best animation program of all. Song - Be Prepared from The Lion King! 'Cause why not. ;D
