Disclaimer: I don't think that these are very common things, aside from don't write OP characters. One of them isn't even a piece of advice. Also, this is just my opinion, I am not a professional (yet) take it all with a grain of salt. "Always write romance subplots" is not a piece of advice, it is a thing that is done so often that it becomes forced.
