--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dusk: Name: Dusk || Gender: Female || Personality: Adventurous, cheerful, shy, kind || Kin: Star (sister), Dawn (sister), Twilight (brother) || Likes: Birds, nature, berries || Dislikes: Swimming, thunder, lightning, bright sunlight “Hurry, Dusk!” my sister, Star, was yelling at me. “They’re coming!” “Already?” I yelp, grabbing my bag in my mouth and running towards her. “Dawn said we had at least another hour!” “I don’t know!” my sister looks terrified. “Where’s Twilight?” “Should be behind me,” I look around, spotting my little brother playing in our den. “Twi, we gotta go now,” I tell him, coaxing him towards me. He nods, running over and burying his face in my fur. I look up at Star and nod, we’re ready. “You guys ready?” Dawn asks cheerfully as if we’re going to the beach. I glare at her and she glares back, “Yeah, we’re ready,” Star says, breaking the tension. I take one last look around the den before picking up Twilight by the scruff of his neck and tossing my bag onto my back. “Come on!” Dawn says impatiently. “We don’t have time to-” we hear a shriek from outside and a young cat, Song, rushes in. “They’re here!” she screams before running back out to warn the rest of the village. Star, Dawn, and I exchange looks and quickly rush out of our home. We had an escape route planned, but it’s blocked. With nowhere to go, we stand in the middle of burning dens and look around. “There!” Star rushes to a small gap in the flames where we can get out. Dawn and I exchange glances but quickly follow. We’re soon out of the village and lost in a forest. “I hope everybody else is safe,” Dawn says, the other cats that ran with us nodded. “When can we go home?” a small kit wails, his mother shushing him quickly. The older cats look around at each other. Dawn quickly takes action. “All right, every cat that can walk without pain, go over there,” she gestures to a spot in the clearing. “Kits and their mothers can go over there,” she points to another spot. “And every can that has a lot of wounds, stay where you are. Healers, help the wounded,” she looks around, watching every cat move to their places. I put Twilight with the other kits, then go to the cats without pain. Soon, after everybody was treated, nests were laid down, and there was prey for everybody, we settled down to sleep. It was one big circle, the kits, and mothers in the middle, and the strongest fighters on the outside, we were all warm and protected. The next day, Dawn led us out of our temporary camp. We don’t have any idea where we’re going, but at least we’re together. We’ll find our home again. If we don’t, at least we’re together. Always. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Art is by @daisykitty Stories by me, @--Eclipse This story is like another WTAE I did. Oh well. Be prepared for the other remixes I did, I'll share them slowly so I can edit the stories, but in order that I wrote them in.
