I swear I've been working on this picture for at least 2 weeks now, maybe 3, and I still have not finished it completely, but I love it too much to drop out and trash it, but I can't keep it because it ain't finished and these ain't my characters yet, so yeah. Here they were. The beauties. Edit: I stuck the drawing process inside because I kept it and because I could and because I like it. Press space to flip through it. #1 - Oasis Prince Name: Novita Age: aprox. 18 Gender: transgender male Species: Mavian (original species, not a furry, don't hate and don't steal) Appearance: not bothering with this Universe: Dreamers/The Eternal Forest Sexuality: definitely gay Story: Novita grew up in a high-class family in the Mavian species's capitol city. He's always been very quiet and cynical in his attitude, almost bored of his life and the world he lives in in general. He was apprenticed to a jewelry smith for a while, before leaving his home altogether in search of something more. On his travels he became obsessed with stories of a place called the Nexus--the ancient home of a mysterious group who called themselves the Dreamers. (cont. in Barris's bio) #2 - Burnished Wanderer Name: Barris Age: aprox. 23 Gender: male Species: half Mavian, half something else, idk yet Appearance: not bothering with this Universe: Dreamers/The Eternal Forest Sexuality: probably straight Story: Barris is a wanderer and a messenger, traveling through the Eternal Forest, carrying news from one village or town to another. He doesn't stay in one place for very long, only long enough to learn all he can before continuing on his way. Barris, like Novita, was obsessed with stories about the Nexus, and when the two met, they decided to search for it together . . . . . . Which probably led to lots of shenanigans, run-ins with other people searching for the Nexus (*cough* Ovarion and Halite *cough*), attacks from the dangerous beasts of the Eternal Forest, and lots of opportunities for me to mess with these beautiful boys >:3 Yeah, I don't really care if I win them or not, but it's high time that I get this out into the world. I am pretty proud of how the picture turned out, though. Novita's right ear (left, to you) is a little wonky, but he still looks fine. I had to heavily simplify his design because all those markings were a bit much for me to fit onto his face all at once. Sorry 'bout that. If I had to pick between them, I'd rather win Barris, because he's basically the backbone of the duo (yes, I have read the rules). I might update this if I ever get around to finishing the art. I am so freaking proud of myself for that. Like the horns and tail spikes aren't enough to convince you that they're dangerous. Really, everything in the Eternal Forest is dangerous to some degree.
