He lived with other talking animals like him, but one day, He fell into a cave leading to a suspicious portal. Star, being the curious dog he was, went through the portal and ended up on earth. He had to find a way back to Stelune, so he had to shut up and become like a normal earth dog. Star did not like this AT ALL. He had to evade many humans and other odd creatures but many years later (Stelune animals do not age) Star found a portal on top of a mountain. Hoping it would take him back to Stelune, he jumped in. Instead, the portal took him to the middle of space. To this day, Star will run across the night sky looking for a way home. So if you ever see a shooting star, it might just be Star!
