I'm so sorry for the awful quality! Scratch just loves to butcher things. Click to progress 1. Blank canvas. I set it to 2880 x 2160. 2. Using the pen tool and a saturated red color, I draw rough guidelines. 3. Again with the pen tool, I use a dull violet color to sketch. 3. With black, I draw the lineart. 4. Just some cleanup of the lineart. 5. I use the bucket tool and very unsaturated colors to color my drawing - I have a deathly fear of highly saturated colors. 6. Using the airbrush and the watercolor tool, I lightly shade some portions. 7. Using the pen tool, I block in some more shading to stand out more. 8. At this point I add the background. I pretty much never do realistic backgrounds, which is a problem of mine, haha. I really like doing these abstract backgrounds instead. 9. I do some fancy effects, like a drop shadow and a multiply layer over the whole thing. Another thing I do to all my drawings is add a saturated blue/purple overlay to the whole thing.
