Black Lives Matter. But it's SO MUCH MORE than that. I have always been inspired by language as a way in which we express ourselves. I see it as one of our most important tools that we have as human beings. The words we use are important for conveying our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and connecting with other people. I wanted to make a project in support of the lives of Black Americans, especially in light of the police violence and brutality that target this group of people at a much higher rate than any other group in this country. **** Please remix this project and feel free to add your own words and illustrations in support of black lives, voices, emotions, etc.! ***
This project is made in memory of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Nina Pop, Tony McDade, and the countless others who have died because of the color of their skin. Music: "Stereotypes" by Black Violin.
