Chapter 2 Zelda dragged Urbosa into her room, slammed the door, and locked it tight. The Gerudo sighed and put her hands on her hips "What was that for?" she asked in a mother like tone. The young princess stared at the floor "My father is always bossing me around, trying to make me harness this power... that I'll never be able to..." she answered, her voice trailing off "Could you help me select an outfit to wear to the knighting ceremony?" Urbosa smiled as she followed Zelda over to her large wardrobe "Sure". Link made his way back to the training grounds, another knight drew his weapon and approached him "You're Link right?" he asked. The blonde nodded for an answer. "I'm Kane (pronounced Kahn-ay)" he introduced himself "Would you like to train together? I saw what you did against Revali, you're pretty strong." Link smiled, he seemed pretty satisfied by this idea, and drew his own steel sword. "Get ready for this!" exclaimed Kane as he took his fighting stance. He circled around Link, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. He finally lunged at the hylian who dodged with much ease. "Hyyyyyahhhh!" Link yelled as he swung his weapon at the other knight, causing him to drop his sword. Link was about to force him to surrender, but Kane got back up on his feet, retrieved his weapon, and fought back. The blonde knight seemed somewhat surprised that he didn't win right then and there. The battle continued on for about thirty minutes, when the head knight called "Soldiers! Practice is over! Get some rest, and tomorrow we'll see who is able to become an official knight!" Link put his sword back in it's sheath while Kane did the same. The two knights chatted on the way back to the barracks, well... more like Kane did most of the chatting and Link listened. The sun was almost finished setting and Link decided to take a walk, he felt kind of nervous about the ceremony. Zelda stared nervously at all the paperwork she had to sign. She wasn't even the queen yet and she had to master her powers, help with problems, and sign boatloads of papers. Zelda's father patted her shoulder "It seems you have a lot to do" he commented "Best to get to work." With that, he left Zelda alone in her study. The young princess started reading through the paper, halfway through she exclaimed "Forget reading through these! I'll just sign them all!" She knew it wasn't the best idea, but Zelda wasn't very fond of sitting at her desk, reading boring business papers all day. "Oh princessss!" called a voice from her balcony, a voice Zelda knew very well. Revali "Hello, how are you?" the blonde princess asked as she opened the door with a smile. Revali had the Zora champion, Mipha on his back "I could be better..." he mumbled as he walked into her study, and Mipha fell onto the floor. "Let me guess..." Zelda started, playfully scratching her chin "You're upset that you almost lost to that rookie. Is that it?" "Whaaaa-?" Revali asked with his mouth wide open "N-No that's not it! And I wasn't going to lose to him, I was just taking it easy on him since he's a rookie and all... It wouldn't be very champion-like if I went all out on the little guy..." Mipha chuckled softly at the Rito champion's reply "I think Zelda IS right". Revali scoffed and ran his wing over Zelda's desk "Signing papers I see" he said, hoping to change the subject. "Yes" The princess said angrily "My father expects me to sign ALL of them! Sometimes I don't even read through them" The Rito champion smiled "That's pretty smart". Mipha nodded "I wish I could help you, but your father would know it isn't your handwriting". "It's the idea that counts" Zelda said "You're really kind Mipha". The three champion stood in an awkward silence "Oh how rude of me!" The princess exclaimed suddenly "I'll ask a servant to bring you both some tea." Revali shook his head "We just came by to see how you were doing, but we have work to attend to at our homes. So we'll be leaving." Zelda hung her head low "Oh... Well then, goodbye." "See you princess" The Zora champion said as she and Revali exited the room. Zelda stared angrily at her paperwork "Great... Looks like it's just me and you". Link was in the castle garden, sitting by a little stream. The flowing water relaxed him, seeing as he was nervous about the knighting ceremony tomorrow. "CRACK" Link jumped to his feet and drew his sword from it's sheathe. His heart was beating so fast, and he knew it wouldn't be someone from the royal family, they were most likely busy around this time. "Is somebody out here" called a voice. Link turned to look in the direction where he heard the voice revealing, Revali. "Oh... it's just YOU" he said "What are you doing out her so late?" Link put his sword back in it's sheathe and motioned with his hands that he was out for a walk. "Well okay... I'm going now because I have business to attend to, but if I come back, and you aren't an official knight. You. WILL. meet. your. end.-
Because I want to have my rematch, and because you did decent last time, I'd be very disappointed that you didn't become a knight" With that, the Rito champion took off into the sky. To be continued... I. FINALLY. FINISHED. ITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How long has it been since I made the first chapter? Anyway... I feel like it isn't too short and it isn't too long. But ummm... yea.... I don't really know what else to say so I'll just put the credits... Credits: Nintendo Me
