lineart isn't mine, it was made by @Warriorcats4life9 and was slightly edited by me. these characters in the cce aren't ocs, i just made them up and their stories for this cce lol move your mouse around, woAH it's a paraLLAX- okay so here's a bit of backstory: Ennui (the cat in the spotlight) is generally an upbeat and energetic person. She has grown up in a household with high expectations and standards, with all her relatives achieving fantastic feats. Ennui has a passion for art-related things like music, drama, and- well, art. But her parents feel as if an expressive arts-related career will not generate as much profit to support their daughter in the fairly scary world, and want her to pursue a more reputable career, like being a doctor or lawyer. On one rare day where Ennui went out, her friends convinced Ennui to dye some parts of her fur bright magenta, with Ennui eventually did, covering up what she felt was the drab expectations of her family. Ennui's parents obviously did not take well to this, and soon their argument at the dinner table about her dyed fur soon escalated into a fight about her future. The breaking point for Ennui was when her parents said she didn't know how hard it was to survive in the outside world, and that they only want the best for their daughter. The next day at school, Ennui is withdrawn and distant from her classmates. Her classmates are concerned, since the Ennui they knew at school had a very contrasting personality to this complete stranger. The classmates persists in questioning Ennui, trying to find out what was wrong, but Ennui refuses to talk to them. With her slightly unstable relationship with her parents and Ennui's classmates prying into what she felt like personal problems, the emotional baggage eventually crushes Ennui's cold act (idk if this is a pun but i'm still going to laugh at it anYWAYS-) and leads her to break down in front of he classmates. okay if you really read the whole thing please take a break, a whole bunch of text on a digital screen must be very hard on your eyes-
