So I think I mentioned to a few people that my bone gold mine had been demolished by a truck and there was nothing left but look what I found by mistake! My brother and I were messing around by the creek and I was just poking around at random ‘fake bones’ (dried reeds that look like bones) and I happened to find an actual bone! It’s a raccoon jaw, I assume adult or adolescent. Right now it’s soaking in water until we get enough hydrogen peroxide to whiten it
