➳ Wow. I never thought I'd get here. This was a lot tougher to write than I expected. There was a lot of gore and death involved, and I hope it's a lot clearer now why Abalone is the dark, dangerous dragon she is. ➳ DISCLAIMER: This contains a lot of gore. If you're sensitive to blood and death, please consider that this isn't the read for you. I want to make this point very clear: If you have a tough time reading about blood and wounds with a few details, don't read this. If you choose to read the story anyway and ignore this, and you have a tough time reading it, please don't report me. I gave you a fair warning. ➳ Use the arrow keys if you're on the computer, and you can tap the left and right sides of the screen if you're on mobile. ➳ This was actually a really emotional part of the series. It is the shortest, yet more terrifying part of the book. I mean, I found it kinda terrifying but idk about you guys lol ➳ The HiveWing at the end is Cicada, owned by @saphiralover ➳ The song is "Emporer's New Clothes" by Panic! at the Disco. I wanted to write a bit about the song; This song really shows a dark side of music. The line "heroes always get remembered, but you know legends never die" emphazises the fact that you don't have to be good to go down in history. And that's Abalone's case. Maybe at her heart she's a good dragon, but she's so broken on the inside that whatever she does is terrifying and perceived as evil, and that's what she's remembered for. ➳ Although I said originally that I was going to leave scratch once I finished the backstory, I might stay on a bit longer. ➳ Thanks for reading this very long notes and credits, I hope you like the last part!
