---INSTRUCTIONS--- ~ Quick! The bee needs to "pollinate" 50 flowers within 60 seconds to return them to their hive or else, the honeybees won't have enough honey to spare. • Use arrow keys to move • Avoid getting into contact with the bird or else, you will lose 5 flowers • If you do not collect the required amount of flowers in time, it is game over! • Once you have collected all 50 flowers, fly to the beehive to complete your mission! • Do NOT worry about the timer continuing once you have to fly to the hive, as the timer will automatically pause once you collect all 50 flowers. • Feel free to comment your time/score!
• Can you beat my brother's high score? He beat the game in exactly 20 seconds! ---BACKGROUND MUSIC--- • Cooking - Tomodachi Life ---SIDE NOTE--- • JULY 8th, 2020: Two months ago in early May, I shared the exact same game "Buzz Flight". Due to my dislike of what I created, I unshared the project as soon as June 9th. I used sprites from Google (which was not very original of me), the bee did not fly very smoothly, and there was a previous glitch in the score that I fixed in this current game "update". Speaking of this "update", I added more features such as a mute/unmute option (as seen in my recent projects) and a timer, so you can view the remaining amount of seconds you have before you're doomed. Instead of using the sprites I found off of Google images, I chose to draw everything myself. Needless to say, I feel quite accomplished with this new update. Although I was inactive on Scratch between May 14th to June 17th, I made a few other unshared games occasionally and I have learned so much from testing out lots of things I had not discovered before. From recreating this Buzz Flight, I can see the improvement I've made on Scratch within an entire month. I confess that I used to be on Scratch 3-4 years ago and I have recently came back on May 1st, but I have never been able to create something like this before. If you were to ask me to code a game exactly like this a week before I rejoined Scratch, I wouldn't have been able to, even if I tried my absolute best. To be frank, I like to spend hours and hours making Scratch projects when I have free time, but since it is something I deeply enjoy doing, it is the reason why I will continue to persevere. Seeing people view my projects motivates me to do more, just already knowing I'm still making at least a slight difference in the world. I hope this message can give at least a little bit of motivation or just hope to those of you who have lost confidence in themselves or just about to anyone. Even the greatest Scratchers have always started as a beginner at some point in their lives. Speaking generally, just remember, only do something if you genuinely enjoy it, not because you feel pressured to do so (unless it's for school or something and you have to do it). As always, thank you to everyone for being there to support me...and thank you for reading this long message. ❤
