hey! today i dug out some of my old art to critique and redraw it! this was also an activity in SAB (https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26703335/) anyway, click space or tap to proceed. critique in detail: The expressions weren't convesive enough at all. No one can smile all the time. Plus those smiles are just.. The eyes were classic chibi eyes. I think they're ok, but a little too classic. For both, the hair was the only thing I liked. It looked normal, yet interesting. I also really hated how thick the lineart was. No layers, and that was the biggest problem. Their were crazy bits of colour in random places. It just looked very unsteady, in general. The skin was waaay too pale in both cases. It just didn't look human enough. The eyes also were completely black. That's not possible. It can go super dark brown, but not black. Also, it's impossible for the hair to stay so still and in place. The body of the second one was too thin. I like that I added my signature in the second drawing, but it was too far from the actual art. The character's name was not needed there. I could add it in the description. In the new redraw I took care of those problems and added elements from my current art style. there are a few things that can be improved, but i'm satisfied for now. time taken (redraw) : 1-2 hours @svnliqht- for intro inspiration
