Hey hey hey! Sorry this is kinda late, I kept restarting it with different concepts because I'm very indecisive. Eventually, thinking of self acceptance as well as what June stands for, I decided on the theme of accepting your own sexuality. Many children are taught from a young age that being anything other than straight is wrong, and that internalised homophobia can stick for years. The girl is a young lesbian learning to accept herself as she grows. (She even listens to girl in red hehe) I hope it fits well enough with the theme. Just one day late for Pride Month too!!
